Oscillators and moving averages
Candlestick patterns, explained simply
Twelve shapes worth knowing. A pattern means more at a key level and when the next candle confirms it.
How the scores work
- Moving averages: a close above the MA is Buy, below is Sell. There are 12 lines (SMA and EMA 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200).
- Indicators: RSI above 55 is Buy, below 45 is Sell, above 70 is Overbought, below 30 is Oversold. MACD above its signal line is Buy. ADX below 20 is Neutral. Overbought and oversold count as Neutral in the score.
- Score = (Buys − Sells) ÷ total. 0.5 or more is Strong buy, from 0.1 is Buy, between −0.1 and 0.1 is Neutral, −0.5 or less is Strong sell. The summary averages both groups.
- Pivot points and candlestick patterns use closed candles only. Indicators include the running candle, so they can change during the day.
- This is a mechanical calculation, not advice. Always use a stop loss and own your trades.

An idea is marked only when a closed candle rejects an unused zone and the trend filter and RSI band agree. Each zone is used once.
No repainting

How it draws
The videos use synthetic data for illustration. They are not real trades or results.
What it is not
It is not a signal service and it does not promise profit. In our own test on real EURUSD hourly data, the marked ideas did no better than random entries with the same stop and target. Zones fail, often around news and in strong trends.

On 5,000 hourly EURUSD bars, 29.7% of 300 random-entry runs with the same stop and target did as well as or better than the marked ideas. That is no evidence of an edge. Backtests have limits, and past performance is not indicative of future results.

Trading cost rebates
A rebate returns part of the spread or commission you pay on each closed lot. It lowers your costs; it does not turn a losing trade into a winning one.
How it works
- Open an account with a listed broker through Finance Gorila, or ask whether your existing account can be linked under the broker's rules.
- Trade as you normally would. Rebates count on closed lots, whether the trade won or lost.
- The rebate is calculated from your closed lots and paid on the broker's schedule.
